Client: Davis Track Hire
Industry: Ground Protection and Trackway Solutions
Project Objective: To strengthen brand presence online, support the sales process, and improve safety training for staff.
Challenge: Increase online visibility to drive site survey bookings and streamline employee safety training through accessible, visual resources.
Our team identified key objectives across brand building, sales enablement, and safety training. We developed a strategy to deliver a series of videos, including a company overview, a promotional video, and health and safety training videos, each designed to serve specific client goals.
Planning: To achieve the desired impact for each video, we allocated separate filming days to focus on different aspects of Davis Track Hire’s work, from live sites to mock setups. We coordinated shoots across multiple locations nationwide to capture diverse environments, enhancing the authenticity and scope of the content.
Filming: Ground footage was complemented with drone shots to showcase large-scale projects and installations. A major portion of filming took place in Doncaster, focusing on health and safety processes, including mock setups to illustrate best practices.
Editing: After an intensive 3-4 month production phase, we created an engaging promotional video, a detailed company overview, and an instructional health and safety video.
Creative Elements: By using drone footage to highlight the scale and quality of Davis Track Hire’s projects, we visually emphasised their capabilities and commitment to safety and sustainability.
Open House Pictures created a series of videos that not only elevated Davis Track Hire’s brand presence but also became an integral part of their sales and training processes. The promotional video enhanced brand appeal, the company overview positioned them as industry leaders, and the health and safety videos provided a modern, practical solution for training staff.
Results
Davis Track Hire integrated the videos into their website, sales process, and email footers, resulting in increased site survey bookings.
The health and safety videos transformed the onboarding experience, providing a convenient, visual alternative to traditional paper methods. Staff now have on-demand access to safety protocols, ensuring consistency and adherence.

A product video is a type of short form content that showcases all the different areas of your product. It allows your audience to get a full picture of what you’re selling and why it’s worth them making a purchase. The beauty of a product video is you can make a variety of different types that best suit what you’re selling.
Product videos can suit a wide range of budgets. If you’re after something cost effective that shows off your product in a studio or if you want to get actors and locations involved, there’s options for everyone. If you have an idea or examples of product videos you like the look of, then that’s a great starting point. With all of our product clients our focus is on the best results from the budget you have.
This depends on the type of product video you’re looking for. Something more simple like a studio setup can take a lot less time as it’s a simple type of video to make. If you’re wanting to shoot at a location, for example a living room or kitchen, with actors then this can take longer to prepare and longer to edit. That being said most product videos tend to be completed anywhere from a couple of weeks up to 1-2 months.
Firstly, having a finished product and a general idea of what type of video you’d like to create is a great starting point. We’d then have a meeting to discuss the exact requirements with a few straightforward questions so we can give you the most cost effective quote possible.
